Welcome - Pastors Message
FEBRUARY 2010

For the February Newsletter we thought it would be good to remind everyone of the steps that help to produce the Flow of New Wine that we continue to speak about.

  1. A life of prayer to prepare for the New Wine
    • Luke 3:21 Jesus was praying and the heavens opened.
    • Acts 2:1-4 The Church was praying when the Spirit fell.
  2. Recognise God's Sovereign Moment
    • It is a sovereign act of God.
    • Only God knows.
    • It often fulfils an historic moment. For example:
      • On Jesus' 30th Birthday.
      • When the day of Pentecost had full come. Acts 2:1-4.
      • When the Spirit fell on the Gentiles, just as He did on the day of Pentecost Acts 10.
  3. A tangible, visible and audible anointing of the Spirit marked His coming
    • Something definite happened in every case.
    • Everyone either saw it, heard it or felt it.
  4. The Spirit comes to those who have made themselves ready and are waiting expectantly.
    • The 120 in the upper room
    • The group who prayed as severe persecution broke out. Acts 4:24-35.
    • The people who gathered in Cornelius' house Acts 10.
  5. The Anointing had to be implemented by actions of faith
    • After the experience is over then we have to win the battle in the wilderness, to overcome the doubts sown by the enemy and then step out into public ministry by actions of faith.
  6. The New Wine is synonymous with the coming of the Kingdom
    • It is always accompanied by healing miracles and the casting out of demons.
  7. It will always cause instant and long term opposition
    • The New Wine produces a violent clash of the two Kingdoms.
    • This will continue as long as the New Wine is flowing. (Therefore no opposition no real flow of the spirit.)
  8. The Flow of the New Wine is only sustained by a continuing driving force of mighty prayer.
  9. This is exemplified in the lives of the Lord Jesus, Peter, Paul and John.

Our love as always,

Alan and Lynne
