Our Vision:

We intend to reach the community by providing a contact telephone number where a specially trained volunteer would guide the callers and offer both prayer and practical help.

Our Aim:

Vale Community Link is a charity run by Aylesbury Vale Community Church, founded on Christian principles of care. Our aim is to reach out to those within our communities with specific needs and provide Christ-centred answers to their circumstances that give hope for their futures and healing for their wounds. Our aim is to provide a “listening ear” to those who want to talk about their problems and receive some practical help and spiritual guidance. The range of services that we offer are:

• Pastoral Counselling
• Hospital Visitation
• Pregnancy Crisis Centre
• Sex & Relationship Education Programme (for young people)
• Victims of Domestic Violence (Work among “women in refuge”)
• First contact: street outreach
• Children’s Work (invitation to join Sunday School or other children’s activities)
• Visiting bereaved families
• Prison ministry
• Fellowship groups (cell groups) for single, lonely & elderly etc.
