Aylesbury Vale Community Church has been established in the Vale of Aylesbury for over 30 years.
Starting as a group of three or four people, who met together for prayer after experiencing the Baptism of the Holy Spirit through the Charismatic Renewal in the 70's, we have grown to be one of the major Christian works in the area.
We are truly a community church, which is always looking forward, desiring to affect the Vale, our country and our world with the goodness and power of the gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ through intercessory prayer, community action and active outreach.
We are a 'local' church, which draws our leadership from within the church. We are also a 'going' church, seeking to affect the world in which we live.
We do not belong to a Denomination; however we are a church with connections; proudly associating with Outpouring Missions International, the ministry of Alan and Eileen Vincent, with the Ground Level Network, the ministry of Stuart and Irene Bell, and Abundant Life Ministries as well as other church groupings that relate to those ministries. We are also a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
We are a church which has molded itself on the church in the Acts of the Apostles with Acts 2:41-47 being a model we have sought to build, always seeking to be new wineskin to hold the new wine, which God continues to pour out on the earth today.
